As a supportive rhythm instrument vs. what is essentially a lead instrument, these are two different beasts. And I prefer something slightly darker, so I prefer the Mark II over the Mark IV.So it doesn't matter how a model of saxophone is designed or what features it has if there is no consistency in the product.
