Published Apr 1, 2021. Deuterium is a useful resource that you can find in a few places. Here's what you'll need to know about it. Deuterium is a material that was added in the NEXT update for No Man's Sky and has now become a useful material for some important items, used to craft Neutron Shielding and the Pulse Splitter.There was no base building, no vehicles, no freighters or multiple ships to own, no hub, etc. And the game itself encouraged palyers to explore the universe, which I still do. There also was no multiplayer and it was already clear that the variations of the planets weren‘t as advertised. powerman1426 2 years ago #2. The anomaly detector finds random encounter type things while your pulse drive is active. If it's still in your inventory, it may be attempting to do that rather than the mission you want to take part in. There's an old reddit thread about it, it may be still an active issue. . So i read up on the interwebs and found a recipe that calls for two stacks of dihydrogen, I even saw a video of this working.
